I agree with you all, well put, but when it comes to judging go by the rule book and not what you like when judging.

Just wondering how many of you beaglers out there have been dissappointed at field trials? Or shocked that one dog won a cast and your dog lost or other similar stories.

Amen mr. Conroe if you dont judge by the rules then why have the dam rules. By the way the akc field trial rules are a little ridiculous if a dog would do all that you would have a robot dog. The rules need redone and then judge by them. Basically when money is involved everything is corrupted.

I keep a pistol on me when hunting because of coyotes. Shoot the hell out of them. I know a guy here in ky that has had his dogs attacked twice by them really bad. I bought an electronic caller to try to leer them in to kill them. I hear them howling a lot at night when night hunting.
