My old buddy has a book with alot of the different breeds of dogs of the world. You would be amazed to see how many different hunting dogs there is. Lots of them bred for rabbit or hare.

Hardly a nippy Beagle, this is a Cain Corso. They were Roman war dogs. Can eat Beagles in one gulp, small grown-up- about 3 gulps. Sounds like a dangerous dog that needs handled with care and that would get buried if mine.

Now you're killin me! I love fried apples over cat head biscuits.

On the average I consider their 5th year a dog's best with 3 or 4 more top notch years coming.

If I remember correctly it sounds like your pup may be getting something called "rickets". Look it up on your computer. It can be corrected with diet.

This land lease garbage is what will eventually bring an end to hunting. Hunting is turning into a rich man's game. When hunter participation gets low enough hunting will get outlawed.

You are on the right path. I would increase intensity and length of time with the shocker. If he has any smarts at all he will get the message.
