Re: Formats, Foot,and Style

What type of terrain is most of the mid west trials held on.
Reason I've asked is because in my area there is a lot of strip mine ground mainly (sericea grass), which is thick, especially when green.

Re: Formats, Foot,and Style

Guys this post has gotten a little off line, bout like a dog skirting! Lol! I have stated in my past post that I usually run ARHA LIL PACK due to it being more available in my area. I have also ran PKC format a few times. My hounds lack no foot for either one. Lil Pack has got notorious for running ...

Any bitches out there that produce ?

I know lot of time it's the stud that gets focused on breeding. What and who are some great bitches that throw great likeness and traits in there offsprings. Like to here about names, bloodline, and format if they ran any. Thanks

Re: Formats, Foot,and Style

Mr Trudel, thank you for the info. Would love to hear more about some of the hounds you mentioned in your post. I have spoken to Dana Robinson in the past about Ninja, and he has always spoken highly of you. Mr Wells I apologize for the mix up on my post earlier, I meant to say what you did about th...

Formats, Foot,and Style

Just got to thinking other day after I had asked Mr Wells about how FC's that Maravics Blue Ninja had produced in another post. When he said while ninja lacked lil foot for mid-west formats he had one off spring to make FCGD and some grandsons to perform well in mid-west. I have quite a bit of ninja...

Re: Mid-West Beagle Gundog Federation FC's

Thank you Mr Wells. I was just going off of what I been told. And I think I may had my numbers backwards. Like 50 something breedings and 40 something champions??? But I have been told that for years. Never heard that about him lacking foot though? I have hounds out of Pinnacle Hill Sport and Beaver...

Re: Mid-West Beagle Gundog Federation FC's

Mr Wells. I know this is lil off subject, but I'm a fan of Maravics Blue Ninja. I know he was bred 40 something times and produced 50 something FC's. Would you happen to know the names of his offspring that made FC's.
Thanks in advanced

Re: Victor Dog Food

Been feeding Victor for bought 3 yrs. Hounds love it. They hold up very well on it. I feed 24-20 year around. Maybe in the summer months I'll mix a bag of 24-20 with a bag of 22-11 ( yellow bag, maintance formula) together because I'm not running them as hard. Here are some other things that I reall...

Re: toughest to run and why, hare cottontail, swampers?

i have not had the chance to run hare yet, would love to go on a good hare hunt, and was thinking about the difference scent conditions myself. (Sod vs snow). I will say in my area, cotton tails can be challenging at times. Lot twist, turns, and the terrain can play a major factor in the rabbits fav...

Re: southern stud dogs

Give Pete Burns (briar hoppers) call. He owns Puckett Creek Tn Driver. (Reggie X Shady Grove Ninjas Echo). He is pure rabbit dog. Foot, good mouth, great confirmation. I ran Driver for a yr in Ky. Also owned a half brother to him which was LPRCH and true rabbit hound. Pete located in Murfreesboro Tn.
