It is not likely that you are going to find a dimmer switch that is rated for outdoor use. The easiest way would be to wire an extension cord to the lamp and plug the extension cord into this device in side. I have not used this devise and it appears to be cheap so I don’t know how well it will last...

Not really an ol timer lol but I believe a buddy of mine used to own BeBe at one time and a gyp out of her and Big Time called Misty Morning, Never got to see either one of them go but heard a lot of good things about both of them. There is still some off springs of this cross running around here.
