Re: Predator kills dog inside running enclosure
These predators are increasingly becoming a greater threat to our sport. In the last 10 years I have lost 2 good hounds to predators. 1 was a young bitch showing great promise. She was taken in Maine while running a hare with 1 other dog on a split from the main pack. Other dog came back to us. Foll...

Re: Stub Barker "Mr Stubs beagles"
I Remember him and some of his hounds from when I used to trial. He was a true houndsman and the beagling fraternity has lost a great one. R.I.P. and condolences to his family and friends. Jeff S

I am far from an expert on these lines, have only seen a couple from each, but I think you should take a look at Cereal City Wango Tango. Some Primetime in that pedigree right near you Al. I think Tango crossed with something out of your Charlie dog looks real interesting on paper anyway, just IMHO....

Re: i'm disgusted.
Adkjoe, I am in a hunting club up there in the Adirondacks and pay a pretty good membership fee and have only been up there once this year due to the snow and cold. Don't even know if it's worth it anymore. Even down in the southern Catskills here the dogs are swimming in the snow. Still running som...

Re: LEG DAMAGE WITH DC50 COLLAR
I also have run into the same problem with the DC40 with the smaller dogs. It doesn't seem to happen with my bigger hounds. Don't have a solution yet that I know of. I have tried to turn the collar slightly to the side, but even with the collar pretty tight, it seems to work itself back towards the ...

Good deal! Gives you some faith to see things like this with all the negativity going on in todays world. My hats off to all that were involved in making that possible. Keep up the good work with that hound Austin.

Re: What becomes of your old hunting dogs?
I have an 11-1/2 year old right now that was one of the best I ever owned. He seems to still be in very good health for his age. I take him out sometimes with unstarted or barely started pups. He still can run one, just much slower than he used to. He does some things he never used to like bark an o...
