Re: who has the best prices on the garmin alpha
No one. Any authorized dealer is selling them at map ($799) you may be able to find some with a tt10 cheaper, but they seem to have dried up. I have been watching the anti gun auction site for months and once in a while a used one comes up, but they tend to sell for darn near what a new one does. IM...

Re: Why have size classes in AKC anymore?
Could the AKC standard be changed to weight like human wrestlers, boxers etc. A lot harder to cheat, no? And if someone were to starve their dog to "make weight" it wouldn't be strong enough to compete with dogs of a proper build anyway.
Just looking outside of "AKC has always done it this way".

Re: Why have size classes in AKC anymore?
All else aside, I believe that folks like the fact that there are 4 times as many winners or ribbons than if there was a single class.
The problem with measuring is that 4 different judges using the same measuring stand can come up with 4 different measurements. It's not like measuring a 2 by 4.

Nice. I liked that one catching what could have been an ugly check at 4:15.

Re: My First Hare
That's a good story and congrats on your first hare. You should make more trips and write more stories, the pics and all were very good. I've not had the misfortune of running into a porky. Did you get the broken quills out or will they have to be removed? Again, good write-up on your adventure... ...

My First Hare
After months of internet scouting, studying Google earth, and anticipation, I finally made the trip to the tug hill plateau. I have hunted the pa season twice with no success. The closest to actually seeing a hare, was watching the videos on here. I left Erie pa about 1 am and arrived just before da...

garmin question
If I buy an alpha with a tt10, can I add tt15 collars and use them at the same time?
Also, what are the differences between the 2?
Thanks,
Brian

Grab the battery from your boat, rv, etc and hook up a power outlet to it ($5 or so at parts store).
