Re: Mid-West Beagle Gundog Federation FC's
Not trying to stir something up, but did Reggie have a win in the Mid-West? I know he finished in Large Pack at Palmer, just wondering.

Re: IFC Branko's Heli-Prop
I am lucky enough to call Terry a friend. He picked me up once lost in Canada and dragged me bad to his house to sleep on a cot in the basement. We sat up drinking beer and talking dogs way past a reasonable hour considering we had a trial in the morning. He told me and I think it has been quoted in...

Re: Double Cross of Speedy Sport good or bad
I believe I was the first to breed Large Pack champions to Sport, but didn't get the speed of either parent in the offspring. Paige's darn was a medium speed hound yet Paige was wicked fast, go figure! I breed FC Woodeye's Super Girl (Mikermas Super Dog (Top Dog) x Turbo Girl(Heli-Prop)), FC Threeja...

I feel your pain Househounds. I have never heard of pesticides containing arsenic, but it probably does. I'm curious, what do you do about heart worms? The active indegredient in Ivermec is Arsenic. Most beaglers give 3x the amount of Ivermec needed to treat heart worms so that they can also treat i...

Pups won't kill a pen raised rabbit, but hawks will. I turned 15 rabbits loose before leaving for vacation and returned 2 weeks later and couldn't fine a rabbit. Make sure you have plenty of cover. I had 2 12 week old siblings that would pound for 15 minutes, 10 minute break down and pound for anoth...

Re: Started at 8 months and quit at 6 yr old ?
I have seen dogs that refuse to run with a shock collar. I guess they got shocked once too often. I did have a gyp that would only run and hunt for 2 hours. She would sit at your feet after that, but she was real good for 2 hours. An old guy that never hunted for more than 2 hours got her and was ve...

This forum follows Gun Dog Brace to Hare hounds, so it would be helpfull if you stated the style of hound you are interested in, because one size does NOT fit all.
