ive hunted with Coal , he is a rabbit dog no doubt. right now he is in WVA at Kyle Cheslocks. Kevin owns him. he is there breeding some females.

there is a double jiigs bred male in Va. he is 9 or 10. i can get his #.

when you 1st turn loose at the start of the hunt you actually have 8 min. when the 1st 3 min. is gone then you have 5 min. just go have some fun & learn. this is a good way to get your dog around different dogs .

if it was an owl you should have seen wing marks in the snow, usually looks like a snow angel

a friend of mine has a TT Trashbreaker exp. he bought it new a few months ago for his bird dog. got rid of the dog. its been on the dog about 6 times. 1 collar & all manuals & chargers in the case. he wants $300 firm. his # is 574-867-1889

i agree, there are very few true rabbit wise jump dogs. people confuse a hard hunting dog with a true jump dog. there is a male by me that is like what you describe but he is 14" or a little more. he also dosnt hunt at a walk. but he can jump a rabbit where others dont know is there

i build cover. lots of brush piles. i collect all the xmas trees i can after the holidays & pile them up. i also put a lot of salt out. i trap rabbits from different areas & take them to other areas, never hurts to deepen the gene pool.

glad to here she is doing better. those nurses there are great!!! can`t count how many thousands of times iv`e spent going up & down those glass elevators, not to mention the miles put on the wagons.

i hunted Winnemac Fri,Sat,Sun,Mon. killed six. it was dry & they had to stay busy to jump them. it did rain a little Sat. morn., which helped. seems that the late afternoon was better than the mornings. we hunted in the mornings & evenings all 4 days.
