OKIE DOG SUPPLY new items...and black friday sneak peek...
OKIE DOG has new items added to the website: scents, calls, coon lights, and more. We even have the ExplosionPROOF for Alpha and Astro screens. We like these. On the Alpha, it removes the sensitivity from the screen so it's not changing all the time when you have it in a pocket or bouncing on your c...

Re: youngest pup u ever started ?
3 months old-second trip to the field. The first trip, he gave chase by sight. The 2nd trip was full on barking and running a complete circle (albeit slowly as he was by himself) and after that, he would eat through the kennel wire to go run!!! I spent so much time repairing his kennel. He just fell...

Re: Any ways to help keep all the pups alive in large litter
Keep mama and pups clean...and warm. Limit exposure to being petted and touched (for now). Make sure all pups get turns on teats. Any thin ones, give them extra attention. Mama will be discharging. Keeping pups and her clean is critical. Make sure to use a warm slightly damp cloth and wipe her down....

Re: buying new collars where to go
cmdawson: all dealers are required to sell for the same price on Garmin or SportDOG products (or any other name brand product). Selling below the pricing jeopardizes warranty for you. The difference is stock level and service and turn-around time. In my opinion. Thank you jpratt for the great compli...

Re: Garmin Alpha Charging ?
Your welcome! If you are using a splitter, and using that splitter to charge your alpha on your computer-the Alpha won't charge right. If you want to charge your Alpha on your computer, use the USB cord.
I luv my alpha too. We oughta have a 'luv alpha' club. Lol

Re: Garmin Alpha Update - Plz Read
Big River: I have been talking to Garmin engineering... Tt10 collars are on version 2.70 through Garmin Webupdater. Tt15/T 5 collars are on version 2.30 through Garmin Webupdater. So, depending on the collar you have, your newest version will be either 2.30 or 2.70. I said I would update once we rec...

Re: Garmin Alpha Update - Plz Read
Big River: At the time of the update, we were on version 2.3 for the receivers. If I could've logged on, I would've informed others of the most latest update version! I have checked and 2.30 is what my webupdater is saying it is installing. Since you've brought up a version 2.7, I will check with Ga...

Re: Garmin Alpha Charging ?
You should ALWAYS charge up your Alpha system after using it. Always. It is an li-ion battery, so there's no worries about battery memory. The charger actually cycles the battery (much like a marine battery). Do you HAVE to...like it's mandatory or Garmin police will swoop down on you? Nope. But, fo...
