bettering the breed?
what does bettering the breed really mean? Some like fast hounds, some like med. speed hounds, and some even like slow hounds. some of us like blue, red, tri, ect. so what is better for u may not be better for me. there your dogs do with them what you want. just my opinion.

what do you guys do with the waste when cleaning your kennels. ive heard some people have septic tanks and what not. just looking for some different opinions and ideas. thanks

i wasehe them out a couple times to day with some warm water he is looking a lot better glad it wasn't something serious, i have no idea what he got into that night. thanks a bucnh for the help.

eyes swollen shut
my big male ran off last night and came back sometime this afternoon. his eyes are blood shoot, a swollen and full of gunk. i cleaned them out with warm water and it seemed to help. i was thinging it was probally allergeries but not sure does anyone have any ideas.

the safegarug goat wormer says on the bottle not to give to lactating animals. i don't know if that is for people who milk the goats for their mild or if it is for animals milking their young?

no she is doing just fine. i just wanted to be sure because of all the cleaning up that she does. i remember a few old timers told me that they would worm their dams a few weeks after the pups were born but i don't woun to do this if it would harm the pups or the milk.
