Re: dog sayings
the loudest dog in the pen is rarely the toughest, the most important and almost never the smartest. lets hear what youall got. I have not noticed that the dog with the poorest kennel manners ever being the most important or the dumbest. Dogs are a lot like people. Some run their mouths to a fault,...

Re: dog ate a gut pile, deworm?
If you do not have your dogs on a regular deworming cycle, then by all means treat for worms now. Deworming does no harm unless the dog is sick or debilitated. I would suggest deworming all dogs in the kennel once each month, year long. The incubation period for worms is about 3 weeks and meds are c...

Re: What do you guys think of this cross?!
At the end ofthe day, your opinion is the only one that counts. Most Beaglers on this Board have never seen either dog run and therefore they could not offer a meaningful opinion. Just my thoughts about any cross. Good luck with the pups !!

Re: Euorpean Rabbits
Dale L - From my experience with trapping and cageing young cottontails. I really do not think that you would have any success in breeding for the purpose of restocking. They retain the wild instinct and do not adapt to small enclosures. You may have better luck by penning rather than cageing. The d...

Re: Food plots for rabbits?
Clover, vetch and rye grass are a very good investment. I would suggest a tall varity of clover as the bunnys would have cover while in the food plot. If you mix rye grass with the clover, go light on the rye seed as it tends to crowd the vetch and clover.

Diet for dog (Weight reduction)
I need recommendations for a dog diet. I have a female that has had 2 litters of pups and gains weight very easily. She is stocky framed and only about 4 years old. Has not been spayed and gets average amount of exercise. She is being hand fed once a day. I realize the need for protein in the diet (...

Re: San Juan bedding??????
Grass hay does a great job. They will eat part of it and when the remainder get a bit messy, throw it out and add more. All in all, cheap, effective bedding.
