Newborns & Heating Pad

Have 5 new healthy additions to our Beagle family They were born in the living room in the dam's favorite corner. How long do should they have the heating pad in their whelping box?

A week is usually enough if you have them indoors.You can gradually decrease the temp from when they are first born to when you take them off of it.
