Back leg Paralysis?

Post by mingoman »

Anyone ever have this problem with a beagle? I've got a 3.5 year old that had this show up in today.
My vet gave her a shot and some pills for inflammation and sent her home.
She ate fine this evening, but hasn't shown any improvement yet.

Not sure if I would call mine paralysis but I just lost one where the first symptom was hind leg lameness . Ended up being a clot from heartworm, was a young dog that had been on preventive and never should have happened. Hope your outcome is better.

Really wish I could report otherwise, but I put her down today.
She had lost feeling in her feet and the vet told me something was wrong with her spine and she'd never walk again.

Sorry to hear that, I had hoped for a better outcome.
