breeding jip

My jip will come or is suppose to come in to heat her second time in april,she will be 16 months old.Is she old enough to be breed or do i need to wait?Thanks for the help :)

Lot depends upon the gyp and her physical and mental maturity. I would breed some at 16 months, but others I wouldn't. I would definitely never breed one before her second heat cycle. Doc S
