Poison

A close friend had 16 beagles poisoned on Saturday. Medical results reveiled Disulfoton in 7 of the survivors.
Obviously nobody could be absolutely certain of the long term effects of this terrible act of cruelty, but what would you guess the sucess rate of the four 6 month old pups? Could this poison do permanent liver damage or could it damage any other organs that the owner wouldn't notice until 2-3 yrs. later? My friend is really concerned of the possible long term damage. His plan was to start the pups, pick the best and sell the rest. Now does he have six potential health problems. They were not completely down when he found them, but they were extremely wobbly.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. If you would like, email responses to rdog@midohio.net.
