What kind of ivomec? need to start a 5 month pup

What kind of ivomec injection should i give my dogs to grt them started for heartworms? Ivomectrin for cattle and swine, ivermectrin for horses or what ever there is. I am wanting to use it to prevent heartworms mainly and heard that it will kill all other worms as well i also have a 4 year old hound but am going to have him tested before i start.

CATTLE& SWINE ----[[[[DON'T USE PLUS]]]]-Is the one to use --give oral .3 th of cc for beagles mix with coke or something sweet to keep them from coughing back up

Why shouldn't you use the PLUS version. Can it harm your dog!

IVERMECTIN PLUS ---has ---CLORSULON --in it for liver flukes worms

My vet mixes it up for me. Last bottle was free.

I give mine Ivermectin 1/10 of a cc per 10 pounds of body weight, treats heartworms & most the rest ,it won't treat tape worms & for that I use TapeExpeller kills every type of tapeworm

Ditto 0.1 cc/10 lb. of dog. Like previously mentioned, don't use the Ivomec Plus.
