The swelling is a SYMPTOM - do you know what the CAUSE? I find it best to treat the causes and symptoms go away once the cause is removed. Good Luck!

We had that happen once. After searching and searching and still more searching, we found a splinter, a big one, embedded in the skin. Once that was removed, the area cleaned and disinfected, the swelling went down and he went back to being his normal ol self. We did give him an aspirin (wrapped in cheese) to help with the pain, and a course of
amoxicillin. Look close

there may be something you're missing.
