I got a new pup couple weeks ago, he was little thin when I got him he has supposivley had 2 sets of shots and been wormed 2,4,5,6, weeks. He is now 14 weeks old. The problem is the pup looks like a skeleton can not put any wieght on him basically looks really bad, but acts fine eyes look good seems to have plenty energy and has good apetite. I have raised lot of pups in the past and never had one look so bad any advice or comments would be appreciated

Weigh him and give him 1/100 CC of Ivomec for each pound he weighs. For example, a ten pound pup gets 10/100 CC = 1/10 CC. I would also treat him for coccidiosis as well. Good luck with him!

This is what I would do also---worm the bejesus out of him and treat him for coccidia.
I would use
pyrantel pamoate for the wormer, and I would give him 3x the recommended dosage, then I would repeat the dosage 2 weeks later. You won't hurt your pup with
pyrantel. I would also treat for coccidia ... as many pups have this that don't exhibit symptoms.
Also, if you are keeping your pup on the ground, I wouldn't. The ground is the breeding place for worms. Put him in an above-ground pen, with spaced boards, so that when he poops the feces fall to the ground out of the way of the pup. Pups who get kept on the ground will never get rid of their worms ...
Good luck,
.
