IS IT JUST CRAMPS ?

My young female has been having trouble with her front leg/sholder. It has happened twice. The first time it happened she wouldn't put any weight on it at all. I thought she picked up a briar but when I looked at her foot I couldn't find anything. She was limping when I put her in the kennel but the next day she was fine. The second time it happened I squeezed her foot, leg, and sholder to find the tender spot. The best I can tell it is in her upper leg into her sholder. Both times it happened, it was late in the day and after hard running. I was thinking it was cramps but not sure. Has anyone ever had this happen to them? Any ideas?

Gte some glucosamine\ condrin pills 2 a day for 2 weeks then 1 a day there after for 6 months had a male aboutthe same age exhibiting the same symptoms when run hard and vet told me to try this and the dog has never had any problem since. The vet told me not to lay him up run him as hard as I could in the first month of treatment to see if I could get the dog to come up lame but never could get him to limp again.
