Let my house dog out 2 days ago and later that night his right eye was closed I had just mowed the grass the day before hes 5 and never has happen before ,I toss him a bite and he could always catch but now he acts like he can t see it

Did you check to see if anything was in his eyes? My dog' is allergic to ragweed--eyes tear/eyelids swell/inflame when it's real high. Go figure a beagle allergic to ragweed. If the dog is acting blind, IMO it's worth it to take it to the vet ASAP.
