A dead cat placed twenty yards away works pretty good.

Creolin ........... pour some creolin in a ash tub of warm water until it turns a little milky in color, dip hounds but dont get in eyes. Also put some in a hose attachment that mixes as it sprays, this stuff will even chase the flies off that cat 20 yards away. WEAR ELBOW LENGTH RUBBER GLOVES !!!

Fill several plastic sealable sandwich bags half full of water and put one penny in each and hang them about 4-5 feet off the ground. Flies and bugs will leave.
