No clue

Post by bluemouse »

Got a older male that when i was petting him last night I felt something strange on his side. It felt like liquid it was about the size of the palm of my hand it did not seem to cause any discomfort and he seemd find. Just concerned since he is 10 years old. Anybody got a clue to what this might be.

ok I know thats a little vague, so I will try to explain a little better. its not a lump per say, Its more like if you had a baggie with some water in it laying between his ribs and skin.

Sounds like the skin ripped and an intestine pushed through. I forget what they call it right now, your vet can sew it up.
Thanks,
