how can you tell how big a dog is going to be?

I run 13" hounds and im not sure how to tell how big a dog is going to be when its 9 weeks old....im hoping its small but im not sure...the parents were 11 and 12 1/2 but this pup was the biggest in the litter..how can i tell?

I believe Hounds and Hunting put a formula to consider a while back. If I can find it, I will let you know what issue.
