Wanted: Gunshy Hounds

Post by Bev »

I thought I would re-post this from the old board:

If you have or know of a gunshy dog, Merle Crain wants you to contact him. He has reversed a gunshy dog recently and would like to see if he can help some others using the same methods. There is no pain, punishment or negative reinforcement involved. He has a unique "noise desensitization" method on which he will soon write an article for The American Beagler sharing this technique. Merle wants to determine if there's a good reliability factor in the method, and to do that, he will need a few more gunshy hounds to work with.

There is no charge, only that you bring him a healthy dog and he will return to you a healthy dog (and hopefully no longer gunshy). What have you got to lose? Contact Merle at 618-245-6652 (Illinois)
