I was talking to my cousin today before the hunt, told me about a good dog they had years ago that ran track at 6 weeks old. I bought a Boldstroke male at 8 weeks old that completed a track, I don't know how long he ran before I got him. I have 2 three month old pups running track right now. I had another bitch that didn't start until she was 2 years old. Most guys try to get them started at 6 months. Bottom line is, when they are ready, they'll start, and you can coax them, but you can't make them hunt.
