Couple videos of letting Pixie see a tame rabbit in a cage, then letting her in that I took a couple weeks ago. She definitely knows what one is, and seems to have a good prey drive towards them.

Pixie has really started "searching" when out with Crank. Keeps her nose down a lot and always wanders off a bit with him and by herself. She has yet to open on a track, but when she comes across a fresh one, she definitely notices it and will track it for a ways. She actually bumped this rabbit up, and didn't realize it. AS you can see in the video she goes to see what Crank is barking at, just hasn't quite figured it out yet.

Short video of Pixie running behind the house. These are supposed to be young swamp rabbits that I bought and turned loose for her to practice running when I don't have to time to load her up and go else where. You can tell when the rabbit runs by Cranks pen and he sees it

Pixie was lost this past Saturday to a coyote while her and Crank were running a rabbit. She was just shy of turning 7 months old, and had made extreme progress in just the past two weeks. Was circling a rabbit on her own solo, and was keeping up with her future running mate Crank and picking checks up on him. Believe she was beginning to turn into something really special. My daughter absolutely adored her. Our family members, friends, and everyone in Ava's daycare always loved hearing her Pixie stories. You'll be missed Pixie girl...

So Sorry to hear the bad news, about the loss of your pup, to coyote!!

I been running small Bells on my hounds for many years here in N.E.G. we have lots of them Yotes here !! I wish I had been able to tell you about the bells before the accident. You can buy them from Lion County Supply.

Trust me they do work !!

WOW, losing a puppy to a coyote is bad any time but one coming along like that is hard to take. What is even the worst is knowing that little girl with the beautiful smile is heart broken over it! So SORRY for your loss.
