For those of you that use clorox to disinfect your kennels, what ratio of clorox to water do you mix and run through a sprayer? Also, how often do you spray your kennels? I will be spraying pea gravel in addition to dog houses, etc.
Thanks,
Pete

30 to one. One oz of bleach to 30 oz of water. OR I just use 4 oz per gallon. Easier to remember that way.

Remember to read the ratio on the back of the bottle, and don't let your clorox get to warm it destroys it and will not work the same for getting to cold. Once your clorox is over a month old it looses it's effectivness. 10 to1 ratio will kill virus but must soak for 10 minutes prior to rinsing. If you mix clorox to strong it will not be as effective and will infact grow germs.

My vet said to mix 2 capfulls of bleach to one quart cold water. I just put 8 in a gallon sprayer and mix it. This works very well for me since my dogs are on dirt. I spray the pens down once a week. Haven't had any problems with the dogs at all!!!!
