You can use a heat lamp or heating pad in the box.

I know this sis an old thread but wanted to share this. I am botlle raising a pup right now because the dam died & my friend did not want the hassle of
raising all 6. He is in a milk crate right now with an electric heater blowing on it. Whenever I feed him I take the 20 oz. coke bottle out & refill it with piping hot water. When I set him back in He snuggles up to the bottle :)

I just had litter hit the ground 2 weeks ago and Im not having any prob keeping them warm its keeping mama cool right now.. I have them in a whelping box with a hole cut on the side and a small fan blowing in.. Temps here ranging 80-90s daytime down to 70s at night. Just unplug your fan at night mama will do the rest fer em at night..

Jason,
I might suggest you turn your fan around and pull air from the house. This will do better to get the heat from the house and not put a draft on the pups. Best of luck with the puppies ;) ...Patch
