The key to handling waste is to keep it dry. Thats the problem with above ground kennels, they pee and the rain keeps it wet and smelly all the time.
My friend has a covered incinerator. He puts a layer of old bedding, then a layer of dropping. He keeps it covered with a lid to stay dry but some blocks are layed on their side to allow air flow and once a week or so, he burns it, when it's about a wheelbarrow full, he spreads it on the field or out in the woods(no plastic bags and poo in the landfill).
