going to start purchasing material to build two 6x8 above ground kennels, and was wondering where i can buy the plastic or pvc checker board flooring with 7/8" or 1" square holes, and also maybe a good place to buy coated wire. thanks Dan

i purchased mine at fleet farm and have seen it at tractor supply. it is chicken brooder flooring. 2' x 4' sections with 7/8" squares that snap together. i paid approx. $16 per panel.

search Lobster wire pvc coated made from 10 Ga wire they can cut it to what ever size you want I use 1 1/2x 1 1/2 squares for the floor

What flooring did you get

i ordered some plastic floor, with 1" square holes off of farmtec. 4'x2' pannals. should work out nice

i am building a 8' x 32' kennel with 4' x 8' runs and found this place online searched for 2 wks and found they had the best price and selection i bought the 12.5 pvc 1x1 for 550$ to my house it was 48" x 100' roll very solid and i still have bout half a roll left. for any future projects. http://www.martinscages.com/products/wi ... coated.htm

I've been using it for 2yrs. The PVC flooring . I just built 2more beagle off the ground pens. I like that flooring. Some states are outlawing the use of wire. For flooring.
