kennel disinfectant

my dog kennels stink bad but i clean out the dog crap everyday but it still stinks.does disinfectant get rid of the stink? what do all you do to disinfect your chain link kennels? would it be ok if i mixed a little bleach and water together in a spray bottle and sprayed the pen once a week? thanks

If your floors are concrete that sure would be the way to go bleach and water, i would do it about every other day for a while see if that would help.

well they aint concrete they are ground but im getting ready to put a load of gravel in there. how do i disinfect them now?

We have above ground kennels with limestone underneath the pen. We mix a 50/50 solution of white vinegar and Pine Sol Disinfectant Cleaner in a tank sprayer and spray the limestone under the kennel. Limestone in itself is a natural deodorizer. Please note our dogs never come in contact with this solution. This method works well for us. Hope this helps!

Good Stuff right there!! Kills all the bacteria too!!!Our vets office uses it also..

I buy this stuff from sams club (MICHIGAN) its called ODEBAN.. it works great ,i was using bleech then a buddy of mine was filling my head with all of these horror stories of how bleech mixed with the amoneia can create gass's so i just switched to that....it works great and i dont have to listen to my neighbors/wife complain of the smell anymore.
