How Far Can 10.5 Gauge Wire Span w/o Support?

Post by Uzala Hounds »

After significant consideration, I decided to go with 10.5 gauge PVC coated wire with 1.5 x 1.5 inch openings for the floor of my above ground kennel. I have 3-4 dogs in this kennel. The mesh is 3 feet wide. Will this wire hold up with a support every three feet?

mine are 4' x 4' area with one support in the middle and attached very good on the outside edges ( big stainless screws and washers ) and it works great but i wouldn't stretch out anymore than that.
