Kennel whelper made out of deep freeze

My buddy just finished up my kennel whelper. I have an old mid sized deep freeze thats very well insulated .Made of tough stuff. Very heavy and air tight. I had a hole cut in the end for a door.I fixed a door jam attatched a door.I also have a door flap cut out of very tough material. A thermostat is installed.I have a 1500 watt electric heater.Should be great for pups.My question is how much air do I need in the box? This thing is air tight.I am thinking about cutting a few holes in the door .I also my cut a few holes in the door flap.
