Which Bloodline Throws The Most Hunt?

Everyone is naming hounds....

Northway... branko ... a good cross of the two. Seems to be a good choice.

Lake Ogemaw Casey hounds usualy have great hunt. Thirtyoughtsix Blitz is out of Casey he is the hardest hunting dog i've ever seen and i'm not the only person who will tell you that. I have 3 dogs out of casey 2 of them are through blitz another is a grandpup from Jason praters sadie dog and casey. It's all opinions, but i'd look into it. Extreme is a tough word b/c extreme to some people may not be to another person that is an experience based word. Northway hounds hunt hard too in general. I have'nt seen a blitz or casey dog that does'nt hunt hard.

Most of mine are Ole Bad Cliff bred. I've been totally satisfied with this line.

Well I've got a male pup with both Thirty Ought Six and Old Bad Cliff on the bottom alon with Striker and Ace on top, so I guess I'll find out shortly. I believe his dam came from your kennel Thornsley (Minnie).

That sundown blood is HUGE in ukc. The McVeys are good guys and have hunted with them several times. They seem to have decent lines. Them and White River seem to be the "in" blood right now in UKC

I like the White River line when it's crossed hare hounds. That tends to add to the nose and foot, and the White River line seems to help with the control and the looks.

Dexter Reffett's are probably some of the hardest hunting bloodline out there anywhere imo ... Most field trials no longer reward a hard hunter (unless there's no rabbits to run but that's fine) and if it wasn't for people like Dexter the hunting dog would be in trouble imo . Now b4 anyone starts crying foul I'm sure there's a few great hunting dogs still being bred for trials and I'm sure Dexter may not be the only one still breeding them . As far as a single dog goes then my answer will vary slightly at this point but you'll see Reffett's blood in that pedigree too .

Northway, we have some redman bred dogs that you will not out hunt and they come back out of the weeds with a bloody tail and blood all up their sides.

Thats a nice pedigree jeremy some of the best dogs i've seen in there. Ivy, King, blitz, Toni, Bonnie,KING!!!! and Max, that ole bad cliff has reproduced a bunch of nice dogs i've seen ! Very nice Jeremy! Lotsa power behind them pups hopefuly the influences come out in the right places !!!!! You know Mark v's king won the very cast of dogs i had ever judged oh my gosh did that dog put on a show! My jaw was dropped lol. I like that pedigree keep me posted on them. Last think i had no clue singit was out of striker..shows how dumb i am.

Last time editing lol. Brighteyes bonnie was a very neat dog to watch hunt she would get down wind stand up on her hind legs and scent for a rabbit in a brush pile if she dove in head first a rabbit would usualy come flying out the other side! I watched her do that a couple times! I'm sure max (Thornie) could tell you all you need to know about her! She was a nice jump dog! Blitz obviously as i said earlier and King was a complete hound just overall solid dog obviously his reproducing record speaks for itself.
