Looking for some guidance

I bought an 18 Month old female about 3 weeks ago that was lightly started. I was told she was ran alittle but mostly was stuck in the kennel due to health reasons. She is well bred and very cheap .... thats why I picked her up. My good friend is planning to bred to her but he's in Louisiana. She has some excellent Branko bloodlines and will match up to his Branko stud. Which takes me to my current problem- I took her out about three times and she won't get from under my feet. she's not gun shy because I shot a couple of rabbits that day in front of us.
