Bramlett's Bear & Black Hawk studs..

Post by Adam M. O'Donnell »

Just wondering how many Black n Tan studs are still alive out of Bramlett's Black Hawk or Bramlett's Bear????
I know about Tony Upton's Pee Wee's Grizz, who is off Hawk. And he is producing some great pups that have a ton of hunt! However Grizz is very old and I wonder if he dies, are there anymore studs to choose from? I also know there are grandpups around off Hawk and Bear. I have a male pup off Grizz, that I love!
I want to breed my female to Grizz in May, however if something were to happen to him, I'd like to have a plan B!!! Thanks in advance!

Call Don Bramlett and he will be able to tell you if their are. I doubt it on Blackhawk as he has been dead for quite awhile and Grizz is out of him. I believe Grizz is about 9 or 10 years old himself. There may be one or two around. Is bear the Sire of Diamond? If so Diamond is still alive and that is the dog that Don uses as his stud right now.
