Jessies old Joe dog is one heck of a hound. I ran with this dog about a year and a half ago he was old as dirt and he put on a show. not sure if he is still alive or not. Jessie is as good of a guy as they come and breeds some good hounds.

Joe is a good size hound with plenty of foot and can run the hide off of a rabbit. If that helps....

I recently purchased a 6mo old male red pup off of him. I bought him blind, didnt get to see him run. My wife and mother in law went to get him and Jessie knew that we wanted to see him run cause he said he was running good in a starting pen. When they got there Jessie told them that he just got out of the pen and was wore out. Had my fater in law been able to go, I probably wouldnt have the pup right now. I got him cause I have been looking for a hound with his looks. Beautiful pup. If you go to his website, and click on puppies for sale, the litter on the top of the page is Sammy's litter. He is out of Scrogham KY Pete and Newton Faith. I have been trying to find info on his line or these dogs in particular but have not found anything yet. If anyone knows anything to help ease my mind, it would be greatly appreciated.

Joe

need to clear something up

Just need to clear a little something up. I dont want there to be any hurt feelings out there. I wasnt there when my wife went to get the pup so I dont know exactly what happened, just going by what I was told, but had my father in law been there and had jessie refused to let them see the dog run, then we wouldnt have gotten him....Now, I am not saying that he refused to let my wife see him run, just saying that they didnt get to see him. Sending someone to pick up a beagle that doesnt really know what to look for and how to handle the situation is difficult. If myself or my father in law had gone to get him Im sure all we would have had to do is say I want to see the dog run and he would have put him right back in the pen. I wasn't trying to say anything negative about jessie at all. He was great to work with and I hope to be able to work with him in the future. I am still trying to find out all about his dogs so I know exactly what I have in my kennel, but from what I hear so far, I might have exactly what I am looking for. Havent heard a bad comment about his dogs yet.
