Those were what is now referred to as "Traditional Brace Trial" Beagles. Google search, "Traditional Brace Beagles".

They were extremely slow. Opening several times in every track, walking and stopping to bark..
Pearson Creek beagles were established by George Nixon. I think he got out of the business back in about 1975.
