Looking for med. speed hounds

Post by Lynn Perkins »

I have a guy that has called me for help in search of med to upper med speed hounds, prefferably of the gay bloodline.I'm sure that another bloodline of this style would suite him also.

He is looking for very aggressive hunt, med speed on track and clean running, point of lose pickups on checks,NO ruff running at all.

What i need for him is phone #'s for breeders of this style of hound in either Ky(preferably),indiana, ohio,wv,Viginia or Tenn with this bloodline. Thanks

Lynn,
Have him call Roy McElhaney at 931-788-5412. This fella keeps the real deal in medium to upper medium speed dogs. He doesn't trial, but he does hunt his dog at least 4 to 5 times a week, every week.
His dogs are AKC registered and they are a little pricey, but I guarantee the man will get exactly what Roy says he's getting. He's not ashamed of any dog on his place, but he will tell you both the good and bad of every dog he owns.

Shake Rag kennels in Tennessee
The Hills will do you right and no one around here has had as many dogs finish as Champions and Grands in Little Pack that I know of.
