PRIME TIME PUPS

I co-own Prime Time and have raised 6 litters from him. There have been good ones in every bunch. I started 14 of them. They all started quick, had loud mouths and plenty of hunt. 10 of them were what I would call very good; 3 of them had too much mouth for me and the other one ran good, but was a little timid. I have heard good reports from many of the people that have bred to him. Several guys have bred the same bitch back to him because they liked the pups so well. I started FC Talkabout Kellie(Prime Time x FC Talkabout Calie) for Don Hoog. I told him he might have another good one on his hands and he finished her before her 2nd birthday; something almost unheard of in the Mid-West.

Here's a picture of Time I took the other day. He is in good health at 9 1/2 years old and producing 6 pups per litter on average this year so far.[/img]

I have a male pup 6½ mo. old now that is a grand pup of Time's on the top side and his grand sire on the bottom side is Taylors Sock It To Me. He's a big boy already ! I hope he don't go over

He has that long blocky head of Time's and is already circling his own rabbit. He's out of Journey's End Time To Preach (son of Time) x Bear Mtn To Me Princess (Daughter of Taylors Sock It To me) one of the smartest pups I've had the pleasure of training yet.

I'll Have to get an updated pic of him on here sometime. He's just 8 wks old in this pic.

Nice looking pup. Prime Time also throws a brown one occasionally, but most are tri-colored or blue-tick. Talking about size, it seems to me that anytime you have "Sock It To Me" up close, there's a chance you may get one or two in a litter that get too big. Prime Time (grandson to Sock It To Me) will measure anywhere from 14 3/4 - 15 1/4 and most of his pups are okay(even a few 13"), but I've seen a few males go 16".

Your right Wells Woods, the "To Me" line is known to produce some "Too Tall" hounds sometimes. I haven't actually measured my pup lately but he looks to be a good 14" already so I'm thinking of tieing a brick to the top of his shoulders for a few months..lol..j/k But if he goes over, well, I guess he just won't see the trials. I trial very little anyhow. But if he keeps progressing like he has been as far as running rabbits, I look forward to many seasons of great hunting with him.
