Look like good one's to me, should make good hounds.
Hope you don't take this wrong way, but shouldn't you have asked this question before you purchased the pups, not after ?

I knew they were good bloodlines. I just wanted to know if anyone else has these bloodlines and what they thought of them, like are they mouthy, weither they good line control, if they start early or late and stuff like that. I also wanted some more info on them and pics of ancestor. I always put a book together of all info and pictures I find on the back ground of my dogs and was wanting to get started on that. I asked a lot of questions before I bought them, and they came highly recommended.

Sallie, contact Jim Hughes and he will tell you what you want to know on the Sangamon breeding. Gracey is out of Sangamon Ridge Rocket and Sangamon Ridge Lassie. We have a female, who is a grandughter to Bernard, I really like her.

Wow is that strange. That top pup looks just like one of mine. And I don't see any common ancestory in the dogs he listed.

The Black Snake Mac dog goes back to Crain's Hickory Hill Kennel. The Sangamon Ridge dogs goes back to Bredemier's kennel, Barefoot King Patch, Blaze Patch.
This is the story that I've been told. Years ago, Ron Eades borrowed a bitch from Merle Crain that was a daughter of his Dual Grand Champion and World Bench Champion HH Booger Red. Eades supposedly bred this bitch to Bredemier's Barefoot King Patch. Thus, is where Sangamon's Ridge red dogs. Kelver's Black Snake Mac goes back to a bitch trialed by Tom Langhorst and Fred Bach named Black Snake. They bought her from Merle Crain. They had a registration problem and single registered the dog in their name. This dog was bred to a Sangamon Ridge dog and produced Black Snake Mac. This is only what I've been told as the story goes. These dogs were not AKC registered with the exception being Barefoot King Patch.
