Does anybody have the lemon/white Satsuma dogs? Are they fast/slow? 13" or 15" dogs.Any help would be appreciated.

The Satsuma line is owned by a gentleman named Mel Faust in Amite Louisiana. He has from 13"to 15" males and females probably 95% are all lemon. He runs nothing but AKC and has really dominated with his hounds from the South to the East coast. A gentleman Joey Herring has alot of his dogs and he runs Arha and Akc, and Ukc with them and he does very weel in all three. He first started in Arha and really finished his hounds quick so give him an e-mail his kennel is on the links for arha.

satsuma hounds
there is a Satsuma bred hound on our cover page of the Northern Michigan Hare Asso. site. I have seen this dog run and he is very Impressive to watch.. Not really sure who he's out of but i know he has some litters posted on the Classifed section on the site with pedigree. here is the link to the site. http://www.northernmihare.com
