I'm just curious about some of the males out of Dan and wonder about their hunt and use of mouth. By hunt I don't mean just gone out away from you I mean jumping rabbits. Mouth, I don't like to know where the rabbit was last night I want to know where he is at the present moment.
Males I'm curious about;
Owlkill Tracker Sniper, Meadow Brook Chipper, Stone's Chuuby Chester, Mojave Desert Ky. Sonic Boom
Thank you.

Bob Keese owns the Boomer dog. He comes to the some of the Mid West Trials each year. Contact him. I'm confident he would bring Boomer along to show his ability.

I own MojaveDesert-KY Sonic Boom - Boomer. Steve Corey (ME) was the breeder and has 2 little mate sisters. Ted Peercey (TN) trained him, but he didn't have enough foot for ARHA LP down there, so I got him at 18 months.
He is without a doubt my favorite dog. He is the hardest hunting hound I have ever seen. He jumps more then his share of rabbits. He is NOT the once in a lifetime jump dog, but does does jump a bunch. He has excellent line control and is a super check hound. He is NOT very competitive. He is perfectly willing to slot up or run the back of the pack, but if the front makes a mistake he will cut them to pieces. He has good foot speed, but never made the winners pack in LPH or mid-west SPO, but has never been picked up either. I would say he is a poster child for PBGA SPO, but I seldom run PBGA. He uses his mouth correctly, seldom does he open that a rabbit isn't produced. I have bred him once and kept track of 4 pups. The big male was an excellent hound with no holes, stayed down to the end at last year Futurity, but was shot by a muzzleloader during deer season, 100 yards from his kennel. The smaller male is owned by Jason Washington (Jasonsbeagles). Another nice hound and his best jump dog. The 2 girls were outstanding jump dogs with huge noses, but a little too much mouth on some days.
Boomer and I have have some issues over running deer, but I think we have settled one, and I won!
Boomer is without hesitation the first dog out of my kennel when I'm going hunting. He hunts with you and always wants to know were you are. He handles like a dream. He is a hunting dog supreme. He will never leave my kennel.

I owned a male out of boomer and like Bob said he was shot by a deer hunter less than 100yds from my house. Boomer throws goods pups with alot of nose and i suspect a little more foot than he has himself. Would you agree Bob?
I would like to get another just like him.

Bullboy it appears there aren't many fans of the dogs mentioned so give us your list. I'm interested in good potential stud dogs that will hit the brush and consistantly circle a rabbit.

FC Meadow Brook Chipper was a close clean LPH hound that got a little too loose for cottontail...he passed away this winter at an early age. His older brother FC Mr. Chippity Chip I believe is still around as well as another brother Fld. Wnr. Eyer's Geneo.

Bob,
I'm glad to hear you won the deer battle. Boomer is without a doubt as good a gun dog as I have ever seen. He can do it all. Does he still bust the brush so hard that he can't see the next day? He is also a beautiful dog, but like you said a little too slow and controlled for LP. Glad he is still doing well.
