My female also just delivered and four of the pups are that same color. She is slate gray/blue and my male is red/white. The pups I have had in the past that were this color remained the same when they were adults.

This is what is called a blue pup. Both parents have to carry a d recessive gene in order to produce a pup that is dd recessive. I had one from my first litter. The blue is a dilute of of black. If you have a pup born blue, than you put down blue regaurdless if its color darkens or not. You can go to clubs.akc.org/NBC/beagle_colors.htm I had to do the same when ours was born because I had never seen one. Take care.

I had two pups born this color in March. Now almost 10 weeks later they are what I would call lemon and white. They went from silver at birth, at about 1-2 weeks old they turned more red and white, and now are lemon and white.
