Red with white trim beagles only

I was woundering if any one know about the red beagles how thay got started? and about what year and what thay did to get this coller.
I heard that thay were started in the early 1960s some time,but don't know for sure. any help would be appreated.

i had a red and white bitch out of super dog she was birch lake and ausable river on bottom ferrell smith has her now
red dogs

I had talk to acouple Guy last year about these dog but lost their names and phone. one was from Ky.Is their any still around that might be for sale let me know.
