I myself don't have ans shooter, that I can find. Any more info you may have would be helpful. AKC registration #? Maybe a littermate's name?

Ill get the # next time i see the guy,but you are the man!Where do you find all these peds?

I might not always have a particular dog, but with a registration number or a litter mate I can usually (not always) come up with an answer. That's why I usually post registration #'s so it might help somebody else fill in a blank or two. My list is pretty long...lol.

A.N.'s Shooter's Sire's top side is Ninja,Northway & Turbo, Sire's bottom is gun dogs that have some UBGF,Jo Jo Blue & Patch. Dam is all Short's,Cocoa Bear and Little Harvey. Only found out myself this week. He runs with most of the benifits you would hope of the mixture and few of their respective faults. North East medium fast in a pack but will stay on a check and walk it out on the dirt paths almost like a UBGF hound. Better nose than most LPH trial hounds but not quite enough foot to compete on the high scent days.

oceanguy did you get to see Shooter at Merrimack? CAP, I know you did..lol. How large of a class? I finally figured out the spelling on this dog's name this weekend, had it listed a few ways.

Gene, It was a class of 28. His third win. He has about 78 points now. I've only watched him run twice, both times taking home the blue ribbon. Once in GDB @ New Scotland were they are a little more forgiving, yet demand accountability of game, and last week @ Merrimack. Not sure where his other win was or under who. I had heard he was a blend of LPH/UBGF lines but no one seemed to know details so I ordered the pedigree online from AKC for $12 bucks. Should of just asked you first and bought your lunch at an upcoming trial. We would both have come out ahead.

Carl, Thanks for the info. The AKC online peds are nice to use. You get instant & accurate info! Now that you mention it, your Star bitch won the 13" Class as I remember & Shooter won 15" Dogs both with 13 starters at New Scotland. Congrats again bye the way with Star! Catch you around one of these days & maybe we can "do lunch".
