How about some input

Post by TickedDog »

I am looking to buy a pup that has the potential to be anywhere from medium to fast that can handle the line and make short work of a check. Desire to hunt and jump rabbits is also a must. Of course this is what just about everyone wants. But I had a few lines in mind that I have been wanting to try. Northway; Turbo; T-Rex What do you guys think. Would these lines have the potential to produce what I am looking for?
Any input is appreciated.
THanks
Dale

Dale, that is a really good question. I run the T-Rex stuff and also have a double Turbo bred pup I am working with and so far they are as you described. But, out breeding of these bloodlines will sometimes offer you a curve ball if you know what I mean. I also own a Branko bitch that is a good med speed hound that does a really good job in certain areas. The bloodlines you are referring to should be a great place to start. Just don't be looking for the perfect hound as we all know there is no such thing but you should be able to get what your looking for in one of them or maybe a cross of two of those lines! Best of luck to you.........
