Opening Day 2006 (pics)

Post by Schag »

We had a good hunt on opening day here in Ohio. It was tough to see the rabbits because the cover was still thick, however, the dog worked for the three we killed. My brother, Joe, took two rabbits and my Uncle shot one. NO JUMP shooting! I decided to take one dog for a little solo time to the gun. He did a nice job. One particular rabbit took the dog around and around before we could get a shot. I was carrying a camera instead of a gun and helped my brother get in position for a shot. Here are a few pictures. Hope you enjoy.

Nice kills. Your dog did a good job. It is nice to see he is gunned over. Keep those bunnies running for their lives.

Very nice! Good looking hound too, how tall is he? Gotta love the bloody tail!

Schag,

I thought that dog looked familiar. How is he doing? Looks like good enough to bag a few. Good Job!
