I used the 200 gold and the big one which is 1100 or 1200 NCP on bird dogs. I use tritronics on beagles. I am considering a set of Dogtra 1800 for beagles. They are cheaper than the Tritronics collars and there is no doubt that Dogtra makes good quality stuff. I just need to see a set before taking the plunge. I don't like the dial on the Dogtras as well as the click stop dial on the tritronics.

Have had the 202, same as the 200 except 2 dog. They've been used and abused, and I still have had absolutely no problem with them. Battery life, and range have all been good. I've shocked them as far away as 800 yards. I'm totally satisfied. Only complaint I have is the intensity setting dial stinks. Tritronics has a much better intensity setting system in my opinion.
