Paint Creek and Deer Creek are a pretty good drive from you. Try Crown City, huge track of land, you can download a map from Ohio DNR website, and it is much closer. I believe there is more huntable land there than many of the other large tracks of wildlife areas. It seems like they are trying to get a bird population up by the way it is managed and anyplace you have switchgrass is usually good for rabbit. Probably less than an hour from you.

While I am on that thought, you can downlaod any of the wildlife areas of Southeastern Ohio. That should give you enough close hunting areas to last you the season. The maps are grouped on the website by region, so it will be easy for you to find places close.
